Fraud Prevention Tips

  • Consider changing your PIN to something that is easier for you to remember. Do not write it down.
  • AVOID numbers that are tied to your personal information such as date of birth, address, phone numbers etc.
  • Consider changing your PIN from time to time
  • ALWAYS keep sight of your card as your account information can be copied and used illegally, thus depriving you of available funds on your card causing inconvenience, embarrassment and possible financial loss
  • After making a purchase, retrieve your card and ensure receipts, including failed receipts are obtained for your records.
  • Always keep your receipts, including failed receipts until your account has been reconciled. If you must discard them, either tear them into several pieces or shred them.
  • DO NOT write down your PIN or store it electronically
  • DO NOT disclose your PIN to anyone
  • If your PIN has been compromised, change it immediately
  • DO NOT allow anyone the use of your card
