Play ah Pan:Republic Bank’s Customer Care Coordinator, Lorna Phillip, tries her hand at playing the steel pan with one of the participants of the 22nd edition of the Republic Bank Pan Minors Music Literacy Programme at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts, UWI, St. Augustine. The Programme is made possible by the Bank’s Power to Make a Difference Social Responsibility Programme. Looking on is programme tutor, Michele Nicholas. The Pan initiative is geared towards youth development, through education and culture. Over 140 students, between the ages 10-17 years, will participate in the three-week programme. They will graduate from the programme on August 3, at the Daaga Hall Auditorium, UWI.
