Republic Bank and BDC Joins Hands to Help Businesses Bridge the Gap at the 6th Annual Excellence in Business Forum

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad; June 15, 2012: In an attempt to provide the local business industry with an opportunity to network and share knowledge and past experiences, Republic Bank Limited will once again collaborate with the Business Development Company Limited (BDC), to host the 6th annual Excellence in Business Forum on June 27 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain.

This year, four successful companies will take centre stage to share with the audience some of their successes under the forum’s theme, "Bridging the Gap- Managing the generations in the workplace"

Stemming from the resounding success of the annual Excellence in Business Awards which traditionally celebrated outstanding local companies, the forum encourages business owners to share their stories and expertise.

The companies being featured are; Wendy Rahamut, Bridge of Hope, Lensyl Products Ltd and Total Convenience Management Limited (TCM).

International key note speaker, Cheryl Cran, author of "101 Ways to Make Generations X, Y and Zoomers Happy at Work", will address what the generations are looking for in a workplace and what leaders can do to keep them happy.

Among some of the industries Cheryl has worked includes; agriculture, finance, construction, oil and gas, forestry, resources, health care, government, film and hotel/ hospitality.

Representing Republic Bank at the forum will be Managing Director, Mr. David Dulal-Whiteway and Senior Economist, Dr. Ronald Ramkissoon.
