Republic Bank Announces Changes To Operations

Port of Spain, Friday May 14, 2021 – Effective immediately and until further notice, Republic Bank will be implementing several changes to its operations amid ongoing COVID-19 concerns. These changes are outlined below.

ADJUSTMENT TO IN-BRANCH SERVICES OFFERED

Cash Withdrawals and Deposits
  • Cash withdrawals under TTD5,000 will be facilitated via ABMs only.
  • Cash deposits under TTD10,000 will be facilitated via ABMs or in-branch Express Deposit services only.
  • Cash deposits will be facilitated via the Night Safe service only.

Cheque Deposits
  • Cheque deposits will be facilitated at ABMs or in-branch Express Deposit services only.

Application for Manager’s Cheques, Foreign Drafts and Wire Transfers
  • These requests are to be made using RepublicOnline, email or by reaching out to respective Account Managers via telephone. In-person requests will not be accepted.

Bill and Credit Card Payments
  • Bill and credit card payments will only be facilitated via RepublicOnline, RepublicMobile, ABM and in-branch Express Deposit services.

Digital Services
Clients can sign up for RepublicMobile and RepublicOnline at https://republiconline.republictt.com/signup.html These services can be used to:
  • View account balances and statements
  • Transfer TTD funds between RBL accounts
  • Transfer TTD funds to other local banks
  • Pay bills including Credit Cards

• VISA Debit and OneCards can be used at Point-of-Sale Terminals for payments up to TTD10,000 daily.

• Cardless Cash can be used to transfer up to TTD1,500 daily to anyone with a mobile phone. Funds can then be withdrawn from any of the Bank’s nationwide ABM machines.
