Republic Bank Apologizes For Online Inconvenience

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, July 7, 2021: Republic Bank launched its new online banking service on July 5th to a huge response from thousands of customers who visited the website and downloaded the new mobile app.

Unfortunately, the volume of visitors to the website resulted in response time issues which meant that some users were not able to access the new system. We have since made the necessary changes to increase capacity and to improve the responsiveness of the platform and, though things are not quite back to normal, we know that many more users are now able to access and benefit from this improved online banking experience.

We apologize for the inconvenience this incident has caused to our valued customers and we appreciate your patience as we work to get you back online.

Customers are encouraged to visit to experience our exciting new online banking platform, to access download links for the new app for Android and iOS devices and to view our step-by-step tutorial videos.
