Port of Spain, Trinidad, December 18, 2019: Republic Bank has adjusted all ABMs to dispense the new polymer notes. This has assisted greatly with handling the customer demand and in branch customer traffic. In light of this, Republic Bank will revert to its regular Christmas Eve (Tuesday December 24, 2019) and New Year’s Eve (Tuesday December 31, 2019) business hours as follows:

  • All Mall Branches - 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • All other Branches - 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

In order to facilitate customers’ transactions, the Bank will maintain its temporary opening hours for the month of December as follows:

  • Non-mall branches: Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and,
                  Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (no closure during the day).
  • All mall branches working hours remain unchanged (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

The following branches will be open on Saturdays during the month of December from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to provide teller services only:

North:
  • Ellerslie
  • West Mall
  • Long Circular Mall
  • Glencoe
  • Diego Martin

South / Central:
  • South Park
  • Gulf View
  • Couva
  • Pt Fortin
  • Princes Town
  • Centre City

East:
  • Arima
  • Valpark
  • Trincity
  • Grand Bazaar
Tobago:
  • Auchenskeoch

To further assist customers and merchants, the Bank has increased its Point of Sale limit for Republic Bank debit cards from $7,500.00 to $10,000.00 daily, and customers are encouraged to make full of the following services:
