Listed businesses include Real Estate Agents, Motor Vehicle Agents, Gaming Houses, Pool Betting, National Lotteries, On-Line Betting Games, Jewellery Business, Private Member’s Club, Attorneys-at-Law, Accountants or other persons performing the functions of an Accountant or other Independent Legal Professionals, Art Dealers, Trust and Company Service Providers. Customers who are PEP, i.e., persons that currently hold a position in public office or is an immediate family member (spouse, parent, sibling, child/stepchild or chose personal/professional associate) of a person holding a position in public office, unfortunately cannot be onboarded via RepublicOnboard. A smart device (with a camera) will be required to complete the online application. The camera is used to capture necessary identification documents, customer’s selfie and verify the customer’s identity.

The process to open an account via RepublicOnboard can be relatively quick. Please note that all applications will be reviewed by the Bank who reserves the right to approve or decline the application. This process will take one business day to complete.
