Republic Bank Limited opens new and enhanced Agency at Atlantic Plaza

Atlantic Plaza, Point Lisas, Trinidad and Tobago: July, 14, 2014: Republic Bank Limited re-opened the doors to its brand new Agency at Atlantic Plaza, Point Lisas, at a simple ceremony held on Monday July 14. The Agency is located at the B1.01 Atlantic Plaza, Atlantic Avenue, Point Lisas Industrial Estate, Point Lisas.

In delivering the welcoming remarks, Republic Bank’s Executive Director, Derwin Howell said, Republic Bank continues to hold a rich history in banking, in the Point Lisas district, having been present in the community, for the past 49 years.

“The community of Couva and its environs, has grown over the years and Republic Bank is committed to meeting the needs of our customers in the most efficient and effective manner possible,” Howell said.

Republic Bank’s General Manager, Commercial and Retail Banking, Gloria Anthony, Branch Sales Manager, Couva Branch, Gabrielle Dindayal, other Bank officials, Chairman of the Regional Corporation, Henry Awong, and customers, were also on hand to witness the re-opening of the Agency.

With wheel chair access for differently-abled persons and easy access to an ABM, 24 hours a day, the Agency will provide customers with a safe, convenient and ample parking facility.

This new facility is just another of Republic Bank’s many expansion initiatives, geared towards excelling in its core value, of providing to the people of Trinidad and Tobago superior Customer Service. To date, Republic Bank has expanded its reach to the Arima community and environs via Shoppes of Arima and in Tobago with the opening of the Auchenskeoch Branch, Lowlands.

Prayers and blessings were presided over by Brother Harrypersad Maharaj, President, of the Inter-Religious Organisation, Trinidad and Tobago.

Republic Bank is pleased to bring this exciting banking experience to the people of Trinidad and Tobago and by extension the community of Couva/Point Lisas and looks forward to serving its customers better in this modern facility.
