Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business launches Master of SME Management with special offer for Republic Bank clients

Republic Bank (Guyana) Ltd, March 6, 2013: The University of West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business (GSB) through its continued collaboration with Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited hosted a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Presentation, Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for your SME facilitated by Professor Miguel Carrillo, Ph.D., Executive Director and Professor of Strategy at the Arthur Lok Jack GSB.

This lecture which was held at the Bank's Head Office on March 6, targeted the Bank's SME clients and sought to provide training aimed at improving their ability to assess and understand the business environment, as well as effectively drive business strategy.

The Arthur Lok Jack GSB, also launched their online Master of SME Management with financing being made available by Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited with a special scholarship offer for Republic Bank SME clients. Additionally, a commemorative plaque was presented to Mr. John Alves, Managing Director, Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited by Professor Miguel Carrillo in recognition of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited's involvement in the development of the SME sector in Guyana through the provision of financing options and a strong focus on strengthening the skills and competencies of business owners.

The Bank's collaboration with Arthur Lok Jack GSB commenced in 2010 with the hosting of the annual Commercial Customer Business Programme designed to prepare participants for successful planning, organising, and operating small to medium sized businesses in various sectors within the economy.
