Monica Rogers-Fletcher of John Maxwell, Personal and Business Success Coach
What do Trinidad and Tobago’s entrepreneurs want? Or better yet, what do they need?
Is it funding? Yes. Mentorship? Sure. Networking opportunities? Absolutely.
Fortunately one group of 30 entrepreneurs have come together to give other local entrepreneurs some of the opportunities they want and need in the form of the Timely Entrepreneurs ‘Launch and Learn’ series.
The series started a year ago, when author and Timely Entrepreneur founder, Cherise Castle-Blugh, decided to use the occasion of the launch of her first book, as an opportunity to create a networking and learning space for other entrepreneurs.
Roland Riley, Marketing Official, Republic Bank
Both the inaugural ‘Launch and Learn’ and its most recent instalment have lived up to expectations.
Attendees heard from an impressive lineup of speakers on varied topics including:
- Basic banking guidelines from Republic Bank’s Marketing Official, Roland Riley
- Building a resilient mindset from Personal and Business Success Coach, Monica Rogers-Fletcher,
- Protecting intellectual property from Shiva Maharaj of JD Sellier + Co and
- Marketing tips and tools from Marketing Expert, Adrian Theodore
Entrepreneurs were invited to market their products and services at the event
During the break periods, guests were eager to mingle and share experiences, and ideas. While many walked away with door prizes for free services from local business consultants and advertising firms, all of the attendees left armed with valuable knowledge and resources needed to survive and thrive as a 21st century entrepreneur.
