TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Employees of Republic Bank Limited or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

2. Closing date for entry will be Monday, April 21, 2025. After this date no further entries to the preliminary competition will be permitted.

3. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

4. The rules for preliminary entries are as follows:
Submit a three (3) minute video performance playing Tikora and any one of the hands specified below:
Chowbola, Nagara or Dingolay
The order in which these hands are played must be specified.
Each group must be represented by a minimum of four (4) performers and no more than six (6) performers:
Cutter Man, Foolay Man, Jhaal Man and Bass Man – Free to Interchange .

5. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

6. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

7. Finalists will be selected by our judging panel on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

8. The Finalists will be notified via email by Thursday 24th April, 2025. If the Finalists cannot confirm receipt of the email within two (2) days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw placement and select a replacement finalist.

9. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

11. The Finalists’ names will be published on our website.

12. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.
